Fall Books for Toddlers
By Abby Osborn, Children's Services Manager, NCW Libraries
If your toddler is anything like mine, jumping into piles of freshly raked leaves is a daily delight. When I need to keep my son occupied and distracted while I get rid of his pretend mountain, we collect different colored leaves, pinecones, mostly dead dandelions, etc. and he creates his own Leaf Man, based on the book by Lois Ehlert. When it’s too cold to stay outside any longer, we cozy up with some good books.
