Our STEM Manager Heather recently had the opportunity to talk with Dr. Liwosz, an archaeologist at the Mesa Prieta Petroglyph Project, who studies, documents, protects, and sustains petroglyphs in the northern Rio Grande Valley.

There are plenty of petroglyphs you can visit in central Washington.

If you are interested in learning more about petroglyphs and hearing from experts such as Dr. Liwosz, please visit www.mesaprietapetroglyphs.org.
