Winter Reading Recs: Winter Wonderland

Across the five counties NCW Libraries serves, the abundance of snow has made it clear that we’re walking around in a winter wonderland! Whether you’ve spent the day outdoors working or enjoying some of the region’s famous outdoor recreation, there’s nothing cozier than curling up with a good book at the end of a long day.

For our annual Programa de lectura de invierno, we are offering weekly reading recommendations in a variety of themes to inspire your reading lists. We started last week with the theme of Get Me Out of Here! 

This season’s second theme, Winter Wonderland, is a list of contemporary romances set in the winter compiled by our talented Reader’s Advisory committee. Like a sleeve of sugar cookies, these contemporary romances go down easily, and it’ll be quite the challenge to only devour one!

Reading in bunches goes hand in hand with our Winter Reading Program! From December 1st to January 31st, you can log your reading on a paper log available at our branches or online via the aplicación Beanstack, which is available on all platforms. Remember, audiobooks count!
