If you’re looking for a treat this Halloween weekend, check out what’s happening at some of our libraries!
Friday
East Wenatchee: Movie double-feature starting at 4 p.m. Hocus Pocus followed by The Addams Family.
Grand Coulee: Mini pumpkin painting, 4-5 p.m. Pumpkin will be provided.
Pateros: The library will be participating in the Pateros Fall Festival at the Pateros School District from 4 to 8 p.m. The library will be handing out small toys and stickers, as well as hot chocolate and apple cider.
Saturday
Chelan: The library will be participating in the Harvest Festival at Riverwalk Park with spooky story time from 4 to 5 p.m.
Entiat: The Entiat Library will be participating in the community Truck or Treat event at Entiat Park from 4 to 6 p.m.
Grand Coulee: Halloween story time and craft, 10:3- a.m. to noon. Come in costume! Treats will be handed out.
Peshastin: Pumpkin Painting Party, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This is a drop-in event, so come any time. Costumes are encourages.
Winthrop: Slightly spooky story time for the whole family. Hear fun spooky stories and then make Halloween slime.
Sunday
Wenatchee: Teen Murder Mystery Party, 2-4:30 p.m. Sleuth around the library for clues to solve a mystery. Snacks and scripts will be provided.
Monday
Bookmobile: Our community bookmobile will be handing out candy in downtown Wenatchee from 3 to 5 p.m. as part of Trick or Treat on the Ave.
Brewster: The library will be part of the annual downtown trick-or treating. Visit the library for candy and check out the spooky decorations!
Cashmere: Library staff will be in costume handing out small toys and trinkets to trick or treaters who visit the library.
Coulee City: The library is participating in the community trick-or-treat event. Stop by the library between 3 and 5 p.m. for treats.
East Wenatchee: Pick up a Halloween sticker at the library on Monday.
Republic: Library staff will hand out candy from 3 to 6 p.m.
Royal City: Candy will be handed out to library visitors who come in costume from 3 to 5 p.m.
Tonasket: Library staff will be in costume handing out candy throughout the day.
Wenatchee: Candy and a limited selection of bubbles, slime and other small toys will be handed out at the front desk while supplies last.
