Holiday Programs in December

Make new memories and share the cheer with others at a variety of make holiday programs at our libraries in December.

Come in from the cold to make ornaments, take new family pictures, try your hand at unique crafts, hear winter stories, decorate festive houses, watch a movie, and more!

We invite you to celebrate the magic of the season in our warm, welcoming library spaces!

Chelan/Douglas Counties

Dec. 4-7: Take digital holiday family pictures with a green screen at the Cashmere Library. 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday; 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Dec. 4 and 5: Make Origami Christmas trees at the Cashmere Library, 3:30 to 5 p.m. each day.

Dec. 5: Leavenworth Friends of the Library Annual Winter Party, with story time, crafts and a free book for each family, 6-7 p.m.

Dec. 14: Make needle felted ornaments at the Peshastin Library, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Dec. 18 and 19: Make shrinky-dink ornaments at the Cashmere Library, 3:30 to 5 p.m. each day.

Dec. 21: Holiday crafting party at the Entiat Library, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Dec. 31: Noon Year’s Eve Party at the Wenatchee Library, with crafts, treats and more, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Okanogan/Ferry Counties

Dec. 6: Winter Reading kickoff party, with crafts and snacks at the Pateros Library, 4 to 6 p.m.

Dec. 7: Very Merry Storytime at the Brewster Library, with holiday stories, songs, crafts and snacks at the Brewster Library, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Dec. 7: Christmas Tree Lighting party at the Oroville Library, with crafts and games for all ages, 4 to 7 p.m.

Dec. 14: Snowman Party at the Winthrop Library, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Make snow sculptures, winter-themed story time and crafts, a movie screening, and snacks.
