Join us for an afternoon with author, photographer, designer, and horticulturist Genevieve Layman as she talks about the creation of her beautiful garden and nature book, Gather and Make.

The book provides step by step instructions for plant based projects for all seasons during the program, which will be at the Peshastin Public Library at 3 p.m. Aug. 3. Genevieve will also lead an activity to cultivate our connection with the plants and nature around us.

Her book was a winner of the 2019 National Indie Excellence Awards, the 2019 Indie Book Awards, and The Eric Hoffer Award for Excellence in Independent Publishing for 2019.

Genevieve Layman was born and raised in the Wenatchee Valley and is a registered horticultural therapist with the American Horticultural Therapy Association. She is the current horticultural therapy program director at Earthtones, a renowned horticultural and music therapy company in Portland, Oregon.
