We’re happy to introduce our new Entiat librarian — Magi (pronounced maw-gee) Clark!
Magi had been a substitute librarian at Entiat since January, working with head librarian Suzy. Suzy is now part of our bilingual outreach team for Chelan, Douglas and Grant counties.
In recent years, Magi was a stay-at-home mom homeschooling her three daughters. She has lived in Entiat for nearly 20 years after growing up in Dryden and attending school in Leavenworth.
“I felt very strongly that our librarian needed to be someone who loves Entiat,” she said, describing the community as a place that “feels like home to me. Everybody is family here.”
Magi said that because Entiat does not have a community center, she hopes to make the library a place where the community comes together.
