Fall is a great time to join a book club!
There are lots of reasons to join a book club. Reading is good for your mind and soul. Book clubs movivate you to read — and finish the book! You also get to meet new people and make new friends. Book clubs expand your reading horizons, encouraging you to read outside of your normal genre of choice. They also offer a new perspective on the books you read.
If you don’t know how to join a book club, don’t worry. Many of our libraries offer public book clubs that meet monthly. Please contact your local library for more information and to get a copy of the current read.

Brewster: JR Book Club (for teens and tweens), second Thursday of the month, 4 p.m.
Cashmere: Cashmere Public Library Book Club, second Thursday, 6:30 p.m.; Book to Movie Discussion (read the book, discuss it, then check out the movie), third Tuesday, 4 p.m.
