This week, we’re highlighting a few resources to help you find a new job and level up your professional skills. Whether you are applying for your first job, seeking to make a mid-career transition, or trying to widen professional knowledge base NCW Libraries has a resource for you!
Peterson’s Test and Career Prep
This database offers a variety of resources for students and job seekers at all stages of their careers, in both English and Spanish.
For those preparing to start or go back to school, you’ll find a vast array of study tools for standardized tests like the SAT, ACT, and GREs, as well as vocational tests, college search tools, and resources for finding scholarships.
An important part of any career transition is determining your strengths and interests, and Peterson’s offers a specialized career assessment tool to help you identify your Holland Code work personality type and which careers align with it.
