Our summer puppet shows are fun for the whole family, and this summer we are fortunate to have a great cast of new and returning puppeteers.
The team for the first part of summer will be Christina Locatelli, Baillee Wilson and Colin Miller. They are writing their own plays and, while we don’t want to give away the plot, it looks like one of them involves a princess, a witch and a crow.
Miller, a 2008 graduate of Eastmont High School in East Wenatchee, is an experienced puppeteer, spending last summer putting on puppet shows for the Latah County Library District in Moscow, Idaho. During the school year, he is pursuing a master’s degree in elementary education from Western Governor’s University.
Locatelli, of Wenatchee, just finished her second year at Whitworth College, where she is studying music.
And Wilson, a 2017 graduate of Eastmont High School, plans to start Central Washington University in the fall and work toward a degree in communications.
Later in the summer, Eastmont High School teacher Mark Wavra and Wenatchee High School teacher Brian Higgins will join the Puppeteers as they begin a second round of library performance.
