Our Bookmobile is gearing up for a busy summer schedule!

The mobile library that spends the school year bringing books to students in far-reaching areas of our five-county library district doesn’t get the summer off. This year, it will be a regular fixture at the Wenatchee Valley Farmer’s Market every Saturday at Pybus Public Market in Wenatchee.

From mid May to the end of August, the Bookmobile will be making library cards and checking out books to people visiting the outdoor market. In additional to children’s books, it will be stocked with a collection of outdoors, farming, gardening, cooking and crafting themed books.

During the summer week days, our outreach librarians and the Bookmobile will visit summer camps, summer schools, vacation Bible schools, and food giveaway sites.

Hope to see you in the Bookmobile this summer!
