Bestselling author Tara Westover is coming to North Central Washington this week for two speaking engagements in Wenatchee and Omak!

Westover will speak at Wenatchee High School Auditorium on April 12 at 7pm and the Omak Performing Arts Center on April 13 at 7pm.
Her critically acclaimed memoir, Educated,
was one of the most critically acclaimed books of 2018. It chronicles Westover’s journey from growing up in a survivalist family in Idaho with no formal
education to earning a PhD from Cambridge University.

Her Friday night talk will also be live streamed at several of our branch libraries:

  • Moses Lake
  • Quincy

  • Twisp
  • Oroville

Several community organizations will join NCRL staff in a booth fair during the event at Wenatchee High School. In addition to the NCRL table, other groups
