Teen Tech Week will be celebrated at some of our libraries the week of March 4-10!

The national initiative of the Young Adult Library Services Association and American Library Association is an opportunity to showcase the technology,
digital resources and other services available for teens at our libraries.

Here’s what we have planned to far:

Wenatchee

  • Monday, March 5: Create stop-motion movies, starts at 4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, March 6: Painting with Sphero robots, starts at 4 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 8: Young Adult Book Club. Pizza and discussion about Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella. Starts at 6 p.m.
  • Friday, March 9: Popcorn and a movie! Watch Back to the Future. 80s attire is encouraged! Starts at 3:30 p.m.
  • All week: Scavenger hunt in the library. Answer 10 questions and get a prize.

Moses Lake

  • All week: Scavenger hunt in the library. Answer 10 questions and get a prize.

Waterville

The Waterville Library is partnering with Waterville High School to offer the scavenger hunter. All students who complete and turn in the challenge by
March 10 will get a coupon to Highway 2 Brew (provided by the Friends of Waterville Library).

Twisp

  • Scavenger hunt in the library, all week.

Brewster

  • Scavenger hunt, March 6-9.
