Our Community Bookmobile has added new monthly stop along Highway 97 south of Peshastin.
The bookmobile will park in front of the 97 Rock House at milepost 178 on Highway 97 (in Chelan County) on the third Thursday of each month from 1:30 to 3 p.m. The next scheduled stop will be Jan. 20.
The mobile library will offer a wide variety of children’s, young adult, and adult books, audiobooks and movies, as well as music CDs and magazines. Visitors will be able to sign up for a library card, pick up library materials they have placed on hold, and return materials when they are finished with them. Order materials on NCW Libraries’ online catalog to be delivered by the bookmobile.
Masks are required to visit the bookmobile.
The bookmobile makes regular community stops in Plain, Orondo and Wilson Creek. NCW Libraries is regularly looking for rural communities with limited library access that would like to be served by its two bookmobiles.
