Wildfire NCW: A bilingual wildfire resource hub created for Chelan and Douglas County residents by a coalition of local organizations. Find emergency information on current fires and what to do if you are in immediate danger. Also find information on smoke health resources, preparedness information, and current burning restrictions.

Inciweb: Real-time updates and maps for active wildfires, prescribed burns, and other natural disasters. Managed by the U.S. Forest Service and the National Interagency Fire Center, this web page serves as a central hub where local, state, and federal agencies post official news releases, road closures, containment levels, and evacuation information.
Watch Duty: A free, non-profit emergency alert platform and app that provides real-time tracking and notifications for wildfires and major floods. It operates using a combination of official government data and human monitoring by professional dispatchers and retired first responders who listen to emergency radio frequencies.
Evacuations & Road Closures
Police, sheriff’s offices and departments of emergency management will be primary sources of information about emergency evacuations, road closures, emergency shelters, and more. Their social media pages will have the most up-to-date information.

American Red Cross – Northwest Region: If you have been evacuated or if you have lost your home due to fire or other natural disasters, the American Red Cross can help you find emergency shelters, temporary housing, financial and health assistance, and more.

AirNow: A centralized site maintained by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency providing real-time and forecasted air quality data.
After the Fire
After the Fire Washington: A hub of Washington-specific post-fire recovery resources and information for wildfire survivors and those who support their recovery journeys, provided by the Washington Resource Conservation and Development Council, Washington State Department of Natural Resources, and Okanogan County Long Term Recovery Group.
