Something exciting is happening in Chelan and Douglas Counties this spring and your local library wants you to know about it.
Our Valley, Our Future (OVOF) is bringing free, facilitated listening sessions to communities across Chelan and Douglas Counties as part of their 2027–2031 Action Plan process. These sessions are a chance for residents to share what matters most to them and help shape the priorities and projects that will guide our region for the next five years.
Libraries have always been places where community conversations happen, and we’re proud to be part of this one. NCW Libraries is an in-kind sponsor of the project, and several of our Chelan and Douglas County branches are hosting sessions right in your neighborhood.
Upcoming sessions at NCW Libraries:
- Entiat Library — Tuesday, April 1 at 6:00 p.m.
- Cashmere Library — Wednesday, April 2 at 3:00 p.m.
- Waterville Library — Wednesday, April 9 at 10:30 a.m.
- Manson Library — Wednesday, May 7 at 10:00 a.m.
All sessions are free and open to the public. Spanish translation will be provided. Each session features a guided conversation led by a trained facilitator so you don’t need to come with prepared remarks or any special knowledge. Just come as you are and share what’s on your mind.
If you live in Chelan or Douglas County but can’t make it to a library session, OVOF is also gathering input through an online survey at bit.ly/surveyovof.
Your perspective matters. We hope to see you there.
