Kurt Gjullin of Cashmere got in some reading and walking – at the same time – along the Apple Capital Loop Trail in Wenatchee earlier this month. Gjullin was reading Ancient Places by Jack Nesbit, the current selection for his book club at Cashmere Public Library. Gjullin said he’s developed a technique for reading while walking and not running into things.

“I’ve only fallen down twice in 25 years!” he said.
