NCW Libraries is comprised of 30 community libraries in five counties. We check out over two million items each year and provide countless storytimes and a host of programs serving all ages. Our staff serves with heart and makes the human connection that instantly improves lives and builds community. As a public employer, we are proud to offer all full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package. Are you a dynamic, personable, and creative problem-solver with experience in architecture, interior design, construction, or project management? Do you enjoy collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholders and end-users to create spaces that draw people in, inspire, and foster connection? We are hiring a Facilities Manager to strengthen relationships and partner with building owners of the 29 branch libraries we occupy as we develop user experience and staff working condition standards and build a sustainable facilities management plan for these locations and our two owned facilities. This position will hit the ground running, working with a team to champion a new board-approved 3-5 year Facility Improvement Plan that resulted from a year-long system-wide Facilities Visioning Initiative and corresponding in-depth Facility Condition Assessments of each location.

Are you an engaging storyteller with a passion for public libraries? We are looking for a dynamic, highly organized, creative problem solver to help us connect the people we serve with the resources we offer! This vital role has the opportunity to collaboratively and creatively solve some of the library’s biggest challenges, from establishing procedures that improve internal communications to addressing gaps in public awareness of library services and resources, particularly among our most diverse and underserved populations.
