NCW Libraries is comprised of 30 community libraries in five counties. We check out over two million items each year and provide countless storytimes and a host of programs serving all ages. Our staff serves with heart and makes the human connection that instantly improves lives and builds community. We value our patrons, our staff and our resources and strive to make a difference in every location and with every service!
As a public employer, we are proud to offer all full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include full medical, dental, and vision coverage, an employee assistance program (EAP), life insurance, and a base plan for long-term care insurance. We offer sick leave, vacation leave, eleven holidays, and two floating holidays. We participate as a member of the Washington State Public Employees’ Retirement Plan (PERS) and provide access to optional deferred compensation plans. Our employees are eligible for Federal Student Loan forgiveness, and we offer a tuition assistance program for those who wish to pursue their MLIS degree.
