Our in-person, curbside and mail-order library services will be allowed to continue under the latest Covid-19 restrictions announced by Gov. Jay Inslee on Sunday, Nov. 15.

With stringent safety precautions in place to protect staff and visitors, our libraries in Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Okanogan and Ferry counties will remain open for browsing and checking out materials, computer use, and reading magazines and newspapers. Our bookmobiles will also continue visiting schools and communities to offer drop-off/pickup and curbside services.

While our in-person services can continue, we recognize that we must remain vigilant in order to keep ourselves and our communities safe during this pandemic. Masks are required of everyone visiting our facilities, both for in-person and curbside services, and all visitors must maintain social distancing at all times. Masks and hand sanitizer are available in our libraries, and our spaces are cleaned several times throughout the day. Learn more here.

As we all make extra effort to limit gatherings and trips outside the home, we encourage you to check out or download some digital books, movies, or music from your local library. You can either pick up those materials in the library during our limited open hours or through our no-contact curbside service, or you can have them mailed to you by our Mail Order Library.

We will continue to offer a diverse selection of digital content and programs through our website and social media channels. Check our blog regularly and follow us on Facebook for the latest storytimes, STEM activities, and more.

We urge you all to stay safe. Wear your masks. Avoid unnecessary gatherings.
