Dan Gemeinhart

Dan Gemeinhart is the author of five middle grade novels, most set in the Pacific Northwest. He was an elementary teacher-librarian in Wenatchee for 13 years, and now lives with his wife and three daughters in Cashmere.

Erik Brooks

Erik Brooks is the author/illustrator of many fine books for children including Totem Tale, If I were a Whale and the Washington State Book Award winning Polar Opposites. Erik lives in Winthrop, WA, with his wife, daughter, and a 7 month old pandemic puppy. When he’s not drawing or writing, Erik teaches art and coaches cross-country & track at Liberty Bell high school. Kelly Milner Halls

Kelly Milner Halls has written nonfiction for young readers for almost 30 years. She has more than 1,000 articles and 55 books published, including books about Bigfoot, UFOs, ghosts, dinosaurs, dogs, horses and mummies. But her next three books will explore World War II and the Titanic. Kelly lives in Spokane, WA with two daughters, a great dane named Abbey and too many rescue kitties, but who’s counting. Sundee Frazier

Sundee T.
