A reluctant heroine, a family in trouble, and a deadly competition with mythical beasts?!? Yes, please! Based on South Asian mythology, this book is fantastic for lovers of The Hunger Games, Red Queen, and many other favorite YA series.
For Middle Grade Readers
Midnight Children by Dan Gemeinhart
A book centered on what true friendship really means. We loved the confidence building of the characters and the mystery surrounding an old house and children that show up in the middle of the night. A great discussion starter. Written by a local Cashmere author.
