What is in a Book Club Kit?
Book Club Kits include 12 copies of a book along with discussion questions in a convenient tote. Some kits include a large-type book. Nearly all Book Club Kit titles are also available as eBooks and eAudiobooks through our Overdrive and Hoopla platforms.
Need more than 12 books?
Additional copies of the books in our Book Club Kits may be available in our general collection. Search our catalog!
How Do I Find A Kit?
Book Club Kits are listed on our online catalog. Search by Book Club Kit. When you find the kit you want, place a hold, select what library you want the Kit delivered to and you are set!
Guidelines
- Each kit is checked out to the person who is picking it up in its entirety (kits cannot be split up).
- Patrons may have two kits checked out and two on hold per library card
- Book Club Kits have a 6-week loan period. Classroom Kits have a 90 day loan period with an Educator card.
- Kits may not be renewed
- Kits must be returned with all contents included so that other clubs can enjoy them.
- Kits cannot be mailed
- Kits must be returned inside the library branch as they cannot fit in book drops.
- The patron who checks out the kit, is responsible for the kit and must return it in its entirety.
- Fees for lost books will go on the borrower’s record. They and they alone are responsible for any lost or damaged copies.
- Fees will only be placed on the borrower’s account. Fees cannot be split onto multiple accounts or transferred to other accounts.

Reading Group Guides: This website provides everything your book club needs! You’ll find book discussion guides for popular book club books, generic questions to get your conversation going, tips for choosing books and running book clubs and much more!
Classroom Kits
Our collection of Classroom Kits offers many books that are popular with educators.
Each Kit includes 25 copies of a title. Our Classroom Kits include nearly 100 titles that are popular with teachers. Classroom Kits are available to easily search on our online catalog. Search by Classroom Kit, place a hold, and pick up at your local library branch.
Classroom Kits have a 6-week loan period with no renewals. Patrons may check out one kit per time due to the popularity of the kits.
