This September, NCW Libraries invites you to celebrate Library Card Sign-Up Month and discover all the possibilities that come with a library card.
A library card gets you far more than books. It connects you to free programs, job and career resources, homework help, streaming movies and music, cultural events, and so much more. It’s a simple tool that opens the door to information, inspiration, learning, and connection.
This year’s theme, “Strengthening Communities – One Card at a Time” is a reminder that a library card benefits more than the person who carries it. Every card represents a connection to opportunity: a student finding homework help, a job seeker polishing a resume, a small business owner researching a new idea, or a family discovering a free and welcoming place to spend a Saturday morning.
The library belongs to all of us. Your library card is your key to everything it has to offer.
Across all 30 NCW Libraries locations in Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Okanogan, and Ferry counties, as well as our bookmobile and Mail Order Library, you’ll find resources and spaces designed to support your everyday life. Borrow books, magazines, and newspapers. Use free Wi-Fi and charging stations. Access public computers, printing, and faxing. Find a comfortable place to work, study, read, or simply spend some time.
