Blood pressure monitor kits are now available for checkout from the library!
The kits, made possible through a partnership between NCW Libraries and Action Health Partners, are designed for self-monitoring of blood pressure. High blood pressure strains the heart and can lead to serious health problems if left untreated.
Each kit contains an automatic blood pressure monitor, instructions how to take your blood pressure, and educational materials explaining what the numbers mean and more! The kits are not meant for diagnostic or emergency use, and library staff cannot provide medical advice.
