Manga is a form of Japanese comic that has exploded in popularity in the U.S. in the last two years.

Many people have been introduced to manga, in part, through viewing the animated versions of these stories on streaming platforms during the pandemic.   Now many popular manga titles are available online for free with your library card through Comics Plus! Unlike ordering physical copies of books, Comics Plus titles are available all the time with no waiting and offers the ability to read the same copy at the same time as other people.

Right now, there are three portals to access Comics Plus on the NCW Libraries web site.  From the main NCW Libraries page choose “Online Resources” to find the all access Comics Plus portal with all titles available including young adult and adult collections.

The “Teens” tab on the main page is another portal for accessing the same all-ages collection which includes well known young adult series like Attack on Titan, Bungo Stray Dogs, and That Time I Was Reincarnated as a Slime.

Or head to the “Kids” tab from the main page to access Comics Plus with titles specifically targeted for children or teen reading like these popular titles below!
