We are excited to announce our upcoming Cyber Safety for Families series, a set of five engaging sessions designed to help families navigate today’s digital world with confidence.

With social media, gaming, and online platforms playing such a central role in kids’ daily lives, it’s more important than ever for families to build the skills needed to stay safe and connected. This interactive program brings kids and grown-ups together to learn practical strategies for creating healthy digital habits and having open, ongoing conversations about online life.

What to Expect

Participants will explore real-world topics including:

  • Cyberbullying
  • Online predators
  • Scams and online safety risks
  • Digital footprints
  • Emotional wellbeing in a digital environment

In addition to understanding these challenges, families will leave with clear, actionable strategies to:

  • Recognize red flags
  • Set healthy boundaries
  • Communicate openly about online experiences
  • Build a balanced relationship with technology

Meet the Presenter

The series will be led by Elizabeth Rossiter, IT Director and Cybersecurity Officer for the City of Wenatchee. Elizabeth works every day to protect public systems and data, and she brings both professional expertise and a passion for helping families build safe online habits.
