Our all-ages Winter Reading program began Jan. 1 and will run the whole month of January!
Winter Reading is designed to encourage pleasure reading during the cold winter months, provide engaging and accessible ways for all ages to set personal reading goals, and create opportunities for people to come together by reading towards a community reading goal.
You can participate in Winter Reading in two ways this year:
- You can choose to set your own personal reading goal and log the books you’ve read on a printed reading log, also available at any of our library branches.
- Sign up online using Beanstack (try the mobile app available from the App Store and Google Play!) and help us reach our system-wide goal of reading 500 books this month.
Do you prefer to keep track of time spent reading instead of the number of books? Choose the minutes program in Beanstack and get reading!
Please stop by your local library and pick up some books using our contact-free curbside service, or download an ebook or audiobook with your library card on Hoopla, Overdrive or Libby.
Need some reading inspiration? See if you can complete a reading BINGO by completing five challenges in a row!
Happy reading!
