We were shocked this morning to find out just how many of you are looking forward to Cheryl Strayed’s program at the Numerica Performing Arts Center on April 13. We’re thrilled that so many of you want to attend this fun event!!
All the main auditorium tickets to see Cheryl Strayed at the Numerica Performing Arts Center are now reserved. However, you can still get tickets for our livestream overflow room, which will be right next door in the convention center. Everyone who attends the event will have the opportunity to meet Cheryl and have her sign a book, no matter where you sit!

For those of you up north who can’t make the drive to Wenatchee, there will be a live feed of Strayed’s talk at the Okanogan Library.
What is Columbia River Reads?
Every year we choose one book that we hope everyone in our five-county library district will read. Then we invite the author of the book to speak at the largest annual event we host.
This year, we’ve chosen Cheryl Strayed’s bestselling memoir Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail. Join us in reading the book (all our libraries have extra copies available) and mark your calendars for her program.
Many of our libraries will be hosting outdoors-related programs this spring in support of our Columbia River Reads
initiative.
