Reimagining Spaces – Omak
The Omak Public Library has kicked off its Reimagining Spaces Project and has begun inviting the community to share what they love about their library, and what they envision for its future! Several in-person events have taken place throughout September and October, but if you missed the chance to connect with us you can still stop by the Omak Library to pick up a survey or take our online survey at the links below.
Thanks to designated funds set aside by the NCW Libraries Board, as well as over $700,000 in public and private grants, the Omak Library will see a major remodel that includes increases in public spaces, reservable rooms for programming, meetings, and study groups, ADA accessibility upgrades, as well as new interior décor and more flexible furniture. Design work will begin in early 2026 with a projected construction start of early 2027.
Find out more about the project as a whole and how it will affect your community.
