Reimagining Spaces – Oroville
The Oroville Library has completed its Community Engagement phase and is now working through the design phase. Throughout the fall of 2024, NCW Libraries heard from over 200 members of the public. The community overwhelmingly chose the Retreat Design Direction and the Family Fun and Play Program Possibilities. This will lend itself to a calming aesthetic that draws on the subtle colors of the surrounding hillsides, combined with furniture and a layout that better balances the uses of the space and creates better opportunities for connection. Design and finalization of the plans will continue throughout 2026.
Find out more about the project as a whole and how it will affect your community.
