Reimagining Spaces – Peshastin
The Peshastin Public Library has served as a community hub since 1968, 55 years! All thanks to the dedication of the Peshastin Friends of the Library and support from community members. The Peshastin Public Library building is owned by the Peshastin Friends of the Library who facilitate annual fundraisers to maintain and support the current space. The NCW Libraries Reimagining Spaces Project will be the first major refresh to the building since 1982. Community engagement will begin soon but several goals for the refresh have already been identified:
- ADA accessible restrooms and entry
- Private Staff area
- Updated lighting, flooring, paint, and shelving
- Updated furniture and seating areas
Find out more about the project as a whole and how it will affect your community.
